There are hundreds of commercial products available that promise to restore firmness and elasticity. Some of these work well and others fall incredibly short of their promises, but both categories are usually expensive. You can restore firmness and elasticity in the facial skin at home by making simple facial masks that will tighten your skin for less than a couple of dollars with all natural ingredients.
This first firming facial mask contains the following ingredients: Olive Oil and Honey Ingredients
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 TBSP Raw Honey
- 1 Tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp Powdered Milk
To create this mask, separate the egg white, discarding the yolk, and mix the honey, olive oil and egg white in a small bowl. Once you've mixed that, slowly stir in the powdered milk until you have a nice even paste.
Before applying this mask, be sure you have cleaned the facial area or used a gentle scrub, you can also use steam to open the facial pores for better results. Spread this firming mask on your face and neck and leave in place until it is completely dry. You can remove with warm water.
Egg White and Corn Starch
Our next mask uses egg white combined with corn starch to make a very effecting tightening facial mask and can usually be made Egg White and Corn Starching less than five minutes. Be advised this mask works so well that it can be uncomfortable once it is dry. This masks works well for most skin types, if you are allergic to eggs or corn starch, please don't use this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 Egg and
- 1 Tsp Cornstarch
To make this firming mask separate the egg white from the yolk and mix cornstarch and egg white in a small bowl until you get a foamy paste.
Use your fingertips to apply to a clean neck and face. This mask can take up to 20 minutes to dry and it works best if you lie down or recline while waiting. You can remove with warm water. Gently pat dry and apply your favorite moisturizer.
CLAY and Green Tea Firming Mask

Apply this firming mask to a clean, dry face and neck with your fingertips. You'll want to put it on rather thick for it to work well. Try to avoid the lips and the area around the eyes. Try to remain as calm and still as you can so this mask won't crack or fall off while drying. This mask can take up to 12 minutes to dry.
You can use warm water to remove. Gently pat dry and follow up with a moisturizer and toner if you want.
