Firming Facial Masks
As we age our skin tends to lose elasticity and collagen breaks down causing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in our skin. Climate, genetics, diet and overall health can attribute to the loss of skin elasticity. This can be more obvious in the face because of the difference in the thickness of our facial skin compared to other areas of the body. The area surrounding the eyes is thinner than the rest of the facial skin and can show signs of aging first.

There are hundreds of commercial products available that promise to restore firmness and elasticity. Some of these work well and others fall incredibly short of their promises, but both categories are usually expensive. You can restore firmness and elasticity in the facial skin at home by making simple facial masks that will tighten your skin for less than a couple of dollars with all natural ingredients.

This first firming facial mask contains the following ingredients: Olive Oil and Honey Ingredients

Slowly add about 2 TBSP of clay powder, mixing to avoid clumps. Stir until you have a nice smooth paste, you can add water or clay to even it out to a consistent mixture.

Apply this firming mask to a clean, dry face and neck with your fingertips. You'll want to put it on rather thick for it to work well. Try to avoid the lips and the area around the eyes.
